that you've dropped a stitch and it has run down,
you've worked the wrong decrease, or crossed a cable
in the wrong direction? Learn how to fix problems
like this, and build your confidence as a knitter!
Bring any current problems with you so that we can
address them.
All Levels of Knitters
Class cost is $30
Supplies:
Swatches listed below worked in smooth, light colored,
worsted weight yarn, extra yarn from swatches, knitting
needles, crochet hook.
Homework:
If you know how to knit a cable, then bring the following
swatch to class: Cast on 14 stitches. Rows 1-3: Knit.
Row 4: K3, p2, k4, p2, k3. Row 5: K5, p4, k5. Rows
6-7: Repeat Rows 4-5. Row 8: K3, p2, sl 2 sts to cable
ndl and hold in back, k2, k2 from cable ndl, p2, k3.
Rows 9-12: Repeat Rows 5-8. Rows 13-15: Repeat Rows
5-7. Row 16: K3, p2, sl 2 sts to cable ndl and hold
in front, k2, k2 from cable ndl, p2, k3. Row 17: K5,
p4, k5. Do not bind off. Either leave the stitches
on a spare needle, or transfer them to a stitch holder.
Leave at least 1 yd of yarn attached.
Stockinette stitch swatch: Cast on 14 stitches. Row
1: Knit. Row 2: Purl. Repeat these two rows for about
2 inches. Do not bind off. Either leave the stitches
on a spare needle, or transfer them to a stitch holder.
Leave ball of yarn attached to the swatch.
