The basics of handling double-point needles will be gained while learning the ins and outs of making mittens and gloves. We will knit a mitten to learn the techniques. Skills learned here are useful for sleeves and other projects that can be knit in the round. No previous double-point experience is required.

Intermediate Level Knitters

Cost : $80 (includes patterns)

Supplies : Approximately 3 oz worsted weight yarn (a smooth yarn in a light color will make it easier to see your stitches), and a set of 4 or 5 double-point needles in US size 7 (or the size that you use for worsted weight yarn).
